This series of photos shows Mansfield as it was and the buildings from different periods and what if anything are there today. The collection of photos in the archives of the museum is growing and we are always looking for more to be added. Here are just some of the postcards and photos below showing different periods of our history. The first set of pictures is the Memorial Building. I have many people ask me where was the Madison Theater and how did they get into it. Many beautiful and historic buildings don’t exist and in a small way this will hopefully bring awareness to the preservation of what is still standing. Our collection will also help owners who wish to restore their building to its former glory. The museum is always looking to expand our collections in film, photography and artifacts for preservation for study and future generations.
